The Most Popular Music Artist In Every State In 2024-2025

Most Popular Artists State By State

While it might not come as a huge shock to learn that folks in Alabama and Arkansas love the same artist—it might surprise you to know that the favorite artist in Alaska also tops the list in Maine.

Using streaming data from April 7, 2024 to April 7, 2025, YouTube Music has determined the most-streamed artist in all 50 states. So, are you listening to what the rest of the people in your state are loving this year, or are your tastes more aligned with folks elsewhere in the country? Let's find out together...

Top Artist Every State L

Alabama

Top Artist: YoungBoy Never Broke Again (71.9 Million Views)

Number 2: Future (42.7 Million Views)

While Louisiana-born YoungBoy Never Broke Again hasn't seen much commercial success with his latest albums, the South is still heavily streaming the Southern rapper these days.

Alaska

Top Artist: Eminem (2.30 Million Views)

Number 2: Kendrick Lamar (2.14 Million Views)

Alaska loves Eminem, and if you think they're alone, you're wrong. While he may not be as front and center in the pop culture conversation as he was in the 90s and early 2000s—Eminem is still putting out music (and it's some of the best he has ever made).

Arizona

Top Artist: Peso Pluma (62.9 Million Views)

Number 2: Fuerza Regida (56.2 Million Views)

Arizona has a strong Latin culture and deep economic, cultural, and geographic ties to Mexico. So, it probably shouldn't surprise anyone that the top artist in the state this past year was Mexican corrido singer and rapper, Peso Pluma.

Arkansas

Top Artist: YoungBoy Never Broke Again (21.6 Million Views)

Number 2: Morgan Wallen (15.4 Million Views)

You're going to see YoungBoy Never Broke Again a few more times on this list. In fact, the rapper is the top artist in seven states—which is tied for the most with two other artists (any guesses who the other two are?).

Top Artist: Bad Bunny (19.1 Million Views)

Number 2: Kendrick Lamar (14.6 Million Views)
