Hollywood's Darkest Diva

It was a beautiful, terrible thing to be Zsa Zsa Gabor. One of the most stunning women of her century, Gabor wore Hollywood like a skin-tight dress, languishing in its glamour, its galas, and its dark side.

Zsa Zsa was “discovered” on the streets of Vienna, and within a short period of time, she’d won the title of “Miss Hungary,” married her first husband…and got her first, but not last, divorce. Then, Zsa Zsa and her two equally stunning sisters packed their bags and headed to Hollywood.

As television host Merv Griffin remembered their appearance on the scene, “They burst onto the society pages and into the gossip columns so suddenly, and with such force, it was as if they'd been dropped out of the sky.” Soon after, Zsa Zsa met the man who would very nearly be her downfall—Conrad Hilton.

Hilton wasn’t just three decades older than Zsa Zsa—he was also something of a walking red flag. He was in the midst of a mid-life crisis, could be cold and cruel, was a miser, and played bizarre games with Zsa Zsa to test her loyalty.

Ultimately, the marriage ended in divorce and Zsa Zsa moved on…seven more times. And as it turned out through her incredible nine marriages, she found out—and aired—some of the dirtiest laundry in Tinseltown.
